General Nikon 6797 description
The P-300 BLK comes in 2-7×32 magnification with an all-new BDC SuperSub reticle that is calibrated for use with both supersonic and subsonic ammunition and is fully compatible with Spot On Ballistic Match Technology. The BDC SuperSub reticle offers shooters unique, open circle aiming points out to 600 yards, in 100-yard increments, with additional hash-marks at 50-yard distances. It is built with Nikon’s Fully Multicoated optical system with up to 98 light transmission, which offers bright, high-resolution viewing, even in low light situations. Making adjustments in the field is now incredibly easy with Nikon’s spring-loaded instant zero-reset turrets. Just sight in at 100 yards, then lift the adjustment knob, rotate to your “zero,” and re-engage. Hand-turn reticle adjustments are made in -inch click-stop moves that can be felt and heard. The P-300 BLK is waterproof, fog proof and backed by Nikon’s full lifetime warranty.

Comments about pricing:

This isn’t a air gun scope As the last review could have you think, AR is the kind of platform of the rifle.. NOT AIR RIFLE The scope – for the money – is hard to defeat. CRAFTSMANSHIP is great and the BDC SYSTEM WORKS GREAT. HOPE THIS HELPS.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to build this great web page about 6797

Should you buy it:

Looks — The scope looks great on my AR Blackout. I bought this coupled with the P-series rings. They look great together. The rings could of been offshoot some degrees more, however this is a scope review. I love the way it seems. PleasedScope clearness / Magnification/eye break — clearness is amazing. Esp at the lowest power. You may be able to effectively shoot a 100 yard shot on lowest power. Magnification could of been a bit more, however honestly I’ll not be making more that a 150-200 yard shot on anything with my rifle so it’s good for my needs. Eye break at 2x is excellent. Eye break at 7x is a little severe. I’ll only attribute the 7x eye break problem to having the scope mounted on an AR rifle. I had to mount it way forward to be able to get to my charge handle. Otherwise its ok on break. Zeroing — Ok ill be honest. I have generally had someone else zero in my rifles. I hated fooling with it. That was in the past. I have decided to do this one myself. With that being said, It was flawless. The modification knobs were easy to use. I went from being feet off, to paper, to bull’s eye in a matter of some shots. This is a, good thing. Anybody that owns a 300 BO knows that ammo isn’t cheap. So the less $1 rounds fired the better you feel. Now I can not tell you if it holds a zero, however I have my rifle in a padded case and I treat it like an baby, and I have not shot it since I zero’d it in. So I’ll come back and go from there.. Price — You can’t beat this scope for the money. You just wont. Don’t attempt. You’ll fail. Over all I’m going to give the NIkon P-300 5 stars. It’s deserving so far.

SuperSub has great features, but before you get it read this first, you will love it

Is it worth the cost:

Application is for a DPMS LR-308. I was looking for a high quality scope with low variable power that did not cost an arm and a leg. I know this specific Nikon scope is made for the 300 Blackout, not my. 308, however the price and simple 2-7 magnification was right in the ballpark of my needs for a Scout/Sniper type set up. The 300 Blackout at its high end loadings approaches the ballistic characteristics of the. 308 Win/7. 62 NATO round out to 200-300 meters so I thought I’d give the Nikon P-300 BDC a attempt on my rifle. I am happy to say the the scope performs wonderfully for my needs and I was just about right in my predictions for its abilities out to 300 meters using the. 308 cartridge. Beyond that range I have found that holding the crosshairs a bit more to the center line works pretty well out to the 500-600 meter distance. The magnification on the P-300 covers that distance well but anything beyond that wasn’t really in my application needs anyway. I know there are lots more of you out there, at least now, using the. 308 than the 300 Blackout so this scope may be something that interests you out to average ranges. The in general quality for the Nikon P-300 BDC is quite good and its performance competitors other scopes costing more. It is been a good buy and a great value for me. (Some technical plans for this scope are listed below for your reference.

General Optics review related to Nikon 6797

A magnification of factor 7, as an example, produces a picture 7 times bigger than the original seen from that distance. They have big exit pupils making centering less important and the narrow field of view works well in those applications. Much bigger 7 50 binoculars will produce a cone of light bigger than the pupil it’s entering, and this light will, in the day, be wasted. The complex optical path also leads to a narrow field of view and a big drop in light at high zoom. The longer the focal length of the eyepiece, the greater the eye break. Narrow exit pupil binoculars can also be fatiguing because the instrument must be held exactly in place in front of the eyes to offer a useful image, lots of people use their binoculars at dusk, in overcast conditions, and at night, when their pupils are bigger. Central concentrating is an arrangement which involves rotation of a central concentrating wheel to change both tubes together. They are considered to be agreement designs, suited for convenience, however not well suited for work that falls outside their intended range. The bigger front lenses in the 8 40 also produce wider beams of light (exit pupil) that leave the eyepieces. A bigger magnification leads to a smaller field of view. These regions of optical science usually relate to the electromagnetic or quantum properties of light but do include other subjects. Binoculars, field glasses or binocular telescopes are a pair of same or mirror-symmetrical telescopes mounted side-by-side and aligned to point precisely in the same direction, allowing the viewer to use both eyes (binocular vision) when looking at remote objects. Zoom lenses pay for the user the convenience of variable focal length, at the cost of complexity. Binoculars with short eye break may also be hard to use in cases where it’s hard to hold them steady. It’s customary to classify binoculars by the magnification the objective diameter e. Most modern binoculars are adjustable via a hinged construction that enables the distance between the two telescope halves to be adjusted to accommodate viewers with different eye separation or “interpupillary distance”. This distance differs from about 0. These designs are noted to be a agreement and a gimmick since they add bulk, complexity and fragility to the binocular. It’s typically notated in a linear value, like how many feet (meters) in width will be seen at 1,000 yards (or 1,000 m), or in an angular value of how many degrees may be viewed. A professional community of researchers in nonlinear optics has worked on in the last some number of decades caused by advances in laser technology. 5 m to 30 m, depending upon the design of the binoculars. Prominent subfields of optical engineering include illumination engineering, photonics, and optoelectronics with practical applications like lens design, fabrication and testing of optical parts, and image processing. Hand-held binoculars have lower magnifications so they’ll be less vulnerable to shaking. They are usually mounted on an eye-glass frame or custom-fit onto eyeglasses. Magnification The percentage of the focal length of the eyepiece divided into the focal length of the objective gives the linear magnifying power of binoculars (on occasion expressed as “diameters”).

Couponing is an art form for some, but for me when I get a free coupon I don’t always use it. My wife asked me to provide a review for her Nikon Prostaff Target 6734 as she is so happy with its performance. Even thought I will never find a coupon for a Chanel bag, I stil intend to buy one for my wife as she is worth the price.
